Where do you get your merchandise?

Our large and ever growing list of consignors (now over 11,000) keep us well supplied with great fashions and accessories. We also purchase jewelry and accessories from the Fashion District of Chicago.

What type of items do you carry?

We carry pretty much all clothing related to women and we also carry shoes.  We do carry some lingerie; however, for bras and panties they must be new, with tags.

Do you carry scrubs?

Yes, normally we have a large selection of scrubs.

Do you carry men's clothing?

We do carry men's "casual" clothing.  We do not carry dress clothing or suits.  We pretty much are limited to the types of clothing college guys would wear.  Jeans, khakis, polos, sweatshirts, casual type wear.  We also carry casual men's shoes.

Do you consign wedding gowns?

We do not consign or sell wedding gowns. We consign gowns that are suitable for proms or cruise wear. Mother of the bride gowns are accepted for consignment, also.

Do I need an appointment to consign?

Both current consignors and new consignors may choose between an appointment or using our Drop & Run service.

Is there a limit on how many items I may consign?

There is no limit.  However, if you have over 15 items we appreciate you making an appointment.  Just let us know how many items you plan to bring, so we can be sure to schedule plenty of time.

Do you accept children's clothing?

At this time we are not accepting children's items.

How long do you consign items for?

Items are consigned for a period of 60 days.  (Please be sure to check out Karen's Kloset Consignment Contract.)

How am I paid for my clothing?

We currently only consign clothing.  You, the consignor, receive 50% of the selling price.  (Please be sure to check out Karen's Kloset Consignment Contract.)

Do you accept returns?

No.  Since our items are sold on consignment and we post items on a daily basis, we cannot accept returns or give refunds.

Do you accept checks?

We accept checks numbered over 500 with ID and phone number, Debit Cards, Mastercard, VISA, and Discover.
